Rookie is a free chess game analyzer and mistake tracker for Chess.com players. Paste a username, and Rookie grades every move of every recent game with Stockfish, tags recurring patterns like hanging pieces or missed forks, and turns them into puzzles built from your own games instead of generic ones.
The idea behind it is simple: single-game review tells you what went wrong once, and then forgets. Rookie remembers across every game you've analyzed, so a mistake you keep repeating gets named and surfaced instead of quietly recurring forever.
Rookie is an independent project, built and operated by a single developer, not affiliated with Chess.com, Lichess, or Stockfish beyond using their public APIs and open-source engine respectively.
