Every puzzle here is a real position from an actual rated game, pulled from Lichess's public puzzle database of several million positions — not generated or invented, and each comes with a difficulty rating from real solvers, the same scale your own puzzle rating uses. Find the full winning line, not just the first move: the engine plays the opponent's replies as you go, so a puzzle only counts as solved once you've found every move.

Daily Puzzle is the same position for everyone worldwide that day, with a streak for solving it on consecutive days. Random mode serves puzzles matched to your own rating, optionally filtered to a specific tactical theme like forks or back-rank mates. Rush is a 3-minute timed run — solve as many as you can before the clock runs out, with a personal best tracked locally and a leaderboard if you're signed in.
